Guardian Homes

Our Guardian Home program is an essential component of our breeding strategy, designed to foster the well-being of our breeding dogs while allowing us to expand our program.

What is a Guardian Home?

A Guardian Home provides a loving and stable environment for one of our breeding dogs while allowing us to maintain breeding rights. This arrangement is mutually beneficial: you get a cherished pet, and we can continue to grow our breeding program.

Responsibilities of a Guardian Home

As a Guardian Home, you will be the primary caregiver for your dog, which includes:

  • Daily Care: Providing food, water, exercise, and companionship.

  • Health Maintenance: Ensuring regular vet visits, vaccinations, and preventative care.

  • Grooming: Keeping your dog clean and well-groomed, which is crucial for their health and well-being.

We retain breeding rights for the dog, meaning we may arrange for breeding when appropriate. However, all breeding-related costs, including health testing and X-rays, are covered by us.

Benefits of Being a Guardian Home

  • Financial Credits: For each litter produced by your Guardian dog, you’ll receive a $200 credit. This can be cashed out when the puppies go home or accumulated toward a new puppy once your Guardian dog retires.

  • Support and Guidance: We provide ongoing support, including advice on health, training, and nutrition.

  • Lifetime Bond: You’ll have the joy of raising a dog that contributes to our breeding program, knowing they are making a positive impact.

Lifespan in the Program

  • Males: Can be studs for up to five years.

  • Females: Can produce up to six litters, as long as they remain healthy and capable of producing healthy puppies.

By becoming a Guardian Home, you are playing a crucial role in our mission to produce healthy, happy dogs while providing a loving environment for your Guardian dog.
